Directorate of Fisheries - Catch data (banknote) linked with vessel data

Capture data is increasingly in demand by the public; to research, environmental stakeholders and more. The Directorate of Fisheries' practice has been to consider this information to be public. The exceptions are the price per banknote that has been invoked as a trade secret at the time of landing, and the national identity number that is treated as a sensitive personal data (for those registered on the individual). Value figures are released continuously 12 months after the landing time. Each file contains data for a catch year, and data from the catch year 2000 are included in the time series. Data for catch years equal to the current year are updated every night while data for catch years equal to the previous two years are updated every weekend.
