The Lufft WS501 (S/N 143.1014.1009.039) Weather Station was deployed on 2016-01-26 at Chatham Sound. Chatham Sound is a sound on the North Coast of British Columbia, located between Dundas and Stephens Islands and the Tsimpsean Peninsula near Prince Rupert. This device is a Meteorological Station. Meteorological stations are instruments that make routine meteorological measurements on the atmosphere and are comprised of a suite of sensors. Typical examples of measurements include temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, wind speed and direction. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
