Seafloor acoustic backscatter – Mayotte, AUV dive 455-01 and 458-04 (MAYOBS23 cruise, 2022)

Seafloor acoustic backscatter from AUV AsterX dives 455-01 and 458-04 east of Mayotte (MAYOBS23 campaign, 2022), at 1 meter cell size. This dataset results from the acoustic acquisition of the EM2040 multibeam echosounder of the AUV AsterX (300kHz). Backscatter intensity is expressed in relative decibels (dB), without absolut reference (no calibration).
