Metagenomes of epibiotic ciliates colonizing the gills of Alvinocaris longirostris shrimps from the Sagami Bay

This dataset includes whole genome shotgun sequencing of DNA extracted from epibiotic ciliates colonizing the gills of the shrimp Alvinocaris longirostris from Sagami Bay. The epibiotic ciliates themselves appear to harbor bacterial symbionts. The dataset includes ciliates isolated from the gills of three individuals (Alo13_CI, Alo14_CI, and Alo15_CI) as well as the entire gill including ciliates of one of the shrimp (Alo15_GI).
