Global Temperature Climatology (°C)
Global temperature climatology derived from the SeaDataCloud Global Ocean Climatology – Temperature and Salinity Climatology V2 (SDC_GLO_CLIM_TS_V2). The climatology considers temperature profiles from Conductivity Depth Temperature (CTD), Ocean Station Data (OSD), Moored Buoy (MRB) and Profiling Float (PFL) data from 1900 to 2017, sourced from the World Ocean Database 2018 (WOD-18). The gridded fields are computed using DIVAnd (Data Interpolating Variational Analysis) version 2.3.1 on a global grid. Regional climatologies are also available via SeaDataNet. Data are available for download in netCDF format.
