Seafloor backscatter - Marmara sea (MARMESONET cruise, 2009)
Seafloor backscatter of the Marmara sea (MARMESONET cruise, 2009), spatial resolution 1 meter. Data acquired from the AsterX autonomous underwater vehicule (AUV) SIMRAD EM2000 multibeam echosounder. Data from twelve AsterX dives, on active fault scarps of the North Anatolian Fault system, in the Sea of Marmara. Seafloor backscatter relative intensity is in decibel. Data are available for seven zones:
- Tekirdağ Basin West (dive 13)
- Tekirdağ Basin North West (dive 14)
- Western High (dives 10, 11 and 12)
- Western High East (dive 15)
- Central High (dive 6,7,8 and 9)
- Çınarcık Basin North (dive 16)
