Habitat suitability of the vulnerable crinoid Leptometra phalangium in the Mediterranean (under SSP of the IPCC)

Prediction of the distribution of the vulnerable crinoid Leptometra phalangium across trawlable soft bottoms of the Mediterranean (10–1000 m depth)

These layers are associated with the deliverable of the UE REDRESS project

Details of the layers:

  • Probability of presence under present conditions and future projections by 2050 and 2100 under three IPCC SSP scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5) = "LEPR_pred"
  • Identification of climate refugia, and estimation of habitat gain and loss by 2050 and 2100 under three IPCC SSP scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5) = "LEPR_refugia" (Raster code : 1= Climate refugia, 2=Habitat gain, 3=Habitat loss et 4= Unsuitable excepted when only three categories : 1= Climate refugia, 2=Habitat loss, 3=Unsuitable)
  • Assessment of environmental extrapolation associated with the predictions (univariate, combinatoriale and analogue conditions) = "LEPR_uni_env_ext", "LEPR_combi_en_ext", "LEPR_ana_env"
  • Evaluation of model disagreement among the individual models included in the ensemble model = "LEPR_pred_sd"
