Main Endeavour Field Bottom Pressure Recorder Deployed 2014-05-18
The NRCan Bottom Pressure Recorder 80 was deployed on 2014-05-18 at Main Endeavour Field. Main Endeavour Field is a vent field located at Endeavour Ridge, where hydrothermal vent systems are observed. This device is a Bottom Pressure Recorder. Bottom Pressure Recorders (BPR) are instruments that can detect small changes in pressure on the seafloor. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
