Expression of genes of Thermococcus barophilus exposed to maltose for the Hyper2 project, 2022
In order to find genes strongly induced by maltose to construct new genetic tools for T. barophilus. Δ517 strain was cultivated in presence or absence of maltose (0,5 g/L) and cells were harvested in the middle exponential phase. Pellet was rehung by 1 mL of trizol and frozen at -80°C. Then, extraction was done using chloroforme and RNA were precipitated using isopropanol. After DNAse treatment, RNA were sent to Novogene for sequencing.
