Ecological Monitoring of Shorebirds at the Baie-de-l'Isle-Verte National Wildlife Area (2017)

Inventory of shorebirds from July to November 2017 in the Baie de L'Isle-Verte National Wildlife Area (RNFBIV) by the Comité ZIP du Sud-de-l'Estuaire (ZIPSE). All shorebird species observed during the surveys were identified, counted, aged (when possible), and annotated. A survey consisted of scanning with a terrestrial telescope (20-60x objective) or with binocular goggles (8x binoculars) of the entire shoreline section observable at a monitoring station.
