CTD Data for the 2013 Mingan Cruise
The aim of the Mingan 2013 (id: 2013_06) mission is to obtain a general vision of the physicochemical parameters of the water column of the Migan Archipelago in order to validate a high-resolution numerical model.
As part of this project, carried out in collaboration with Hydro-Québec, vertical CTD profiles (conductivity, temperature, depth), spread over 18 stations in the Mingan Archipelago (North Shore of Quebec), were produced. The CTD was also equipped with sensors to measure dissolved oxygen and nitrate concentrations in the water column. In addition, discrete water samples were taken at various stations and depths in order, on the one hand, to validate the nitrate sensor, and on the other hand, to provide additional information (phosphate and silicate concentrations) on the water bodies.
This dataset is part of the EDMS-ISMER-QO collection.
