This study was carried out to estimate the mesoplastic (i.e. plastics measuring 5-25 mm, reported in unit of pieces/m3) and microplastic (i.e. plastics measuring 1-5mm, reported in unit of pieces/m3) concentrations in Playa Grande beach (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain). Mesoplastics and microplastics data were collected during a complete moon cycle from 2019-06-17 to 2019-07-16 using a stainless-steel spoon. This dataset contains the results from all 50 sampling efforts, in a spreadsheet format.
