Oxygen Inorganic Carbon Particulate matter Sea Surface Salinity Sea Surface Temperature Phytoplankton biomass and diversity

The Lake County Department of Utilities (LCDU) West Sub-District Treatment Facility is located on Aquarius Parkway in the City of Willoughby and has a design capacity of 20 million gallons a day. The YSI EXO 2 Sonde is installed the treatment facilities raw water pumping station located on the Lake Erie shore line in the western portion of the county. This facility draws water from its 60 inch intake extends approximately 3,000 feet into Lake Erie. The LCDU is proud to support the GLOS monitoring network and to bring additional knowledge and value to the residents of Lake County.
