SIMBA data acquired in Arctic during IAOOS drifts in 2022
We report continuous observations in Arctic during the 2022 summer and winter season at two different sites with distinct initial snow depth, ice thickness and altitude with respect to the local ice topography. IAOOS33 & IAOOS34 SIMBA autonomous instruments collected continuous observations of GPS positions, vertical profiles of temperature (°C) and temperature increase after 30s and 120s heating (°C) along the SIMBA chain.
