Marine insurance gross premiums and estimated business data; international benchmark on largest markets
Marine insurance is not identified as a sector in the French classification of economic activities (NAF) nor in the European classification (NACE); it usually constitutes a subdivision of insurance companies' business. Marine insurance premiums for France and other countries are sourced from the French and international industry associations. Turnover, value added and employment are estimated using INSEE data on the insurance sector.
