French Marine Economic Data : salt production
Salt production in France is documented using structural business statistics published by INSEE National Statistical Institute. This permits to build key figures related to the activity. International benchmarking in terms of production tonnage is based on the US Geological Survey. Both data sets are available online from INSEE and USGS.
