Oceanographic data from JUVENA surveys 2019-2020

Oceanographic data from CTDs obtained during 2019 and 2020 JUVENA acoustic surveys covering the area of the Bay of Biscay from the Spanish coast to 48ºN. In 2019, the survey was conducted on board RV Emma Bardán. CTD casts were completed using a SBE 25 CTD, equipped with temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, P.A.R. (Photosynthetic Active Radiation), chlorophyll-a and transmittance sensors. Additional CTD casts were performed on board RV Ramón Margalef with a SBE 911plus CTD equipped with temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and fluorescence sensors. In 2020, the JUVENA cruise was carried out on board RV Emma Bardán. CTD stations were occupied with a SBE 9plus CTD with temperature and salinity sensors. Additional CTD casts were performed on board RV Ángeles Alvariño. Vertical profiles of temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, P.A.R. and fluorescence were collected by a SBE 25plus CTD. The dataset contains the geographical coordinates of the CTD stations and the vertical profiles of the oceanographic variables mentioned above.
