Water quality monitoring station located at the mouth of the Fox River, Green Bay. Station established in 1986 as part of NEW Water's Aquatic Monitoring Program and was upgraded in 2022 to stream data in near real time. Parameters are measured from 1 meter below the surface and 1 meter above the bottom of the water column. Top 1-m parameters include water temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, total algae, and phosphate. Bottom 1-m parameters include temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity. This station also measures the following weather parameter - wind speed, wind direction, air temperature. A grant from GLOS provided funding to bring this station online as well as fund Green Eyes NuLAB phosphate monitoring equipment. NEW Water is the long-term funding source.
